Choose your leader… choose your future…

Better leader will provide you with a better life.

But, when I get sick in my old days and have no money to cover, will the leader I’ve chosen be able to help me?

If one of my family members is in need, will my leader focus on his people or his position?

For the next election, my friend made a status in her social platform that she will choose an empty box. She is a civil servant whose income just got cut from her regent. Ironically, this same regent will be nominated for the next regent. And his opponent is the empty box.

Yes, nobody seems able to be another candidate for the election. I wonder why.

So, I ask her why there is only one candidate, why his opponent is the empty box.

She simply said that because nobody can buy the party. You have to buy the party before you can get their support.

Then why is someone rich not willing to buy this party then? If its for sale?

It’s not as easy as it looks.

There are so many other people who want to show up as a new leader in this regency, but they all failed because this one person bought all the party in town. I can say it’s a political monopoly. With no support from a party, no one can head to the election except him. So, this guy will fight against the empty box.

If he lost against the empty box, then the regency will be led by the person in charge of the regent who will be appointed by the minister.

First candidate is someone we know with his track record including what bad news he brought while he is in his chair. The second candidate is someone who will appear out of nowhere with no clue. What a dilemma!

Why does she want to choose the empty box?

As a civil servant, she got her monthly income from two sources. First the main salary for the central government and second, additional allowance from the local government. But, the weird thing is it hasn’t been paid for the last 3 months.

She is a teacher. The reason why she did spread her status is to take her right’s back. She also has a family to feed. And foremost, she has to avoid her family from debt.

Even if she teaches well at school, soon or later she will be drowning in a pool of debt. Thinking about it would be enough to brough her pain to school and easily harm her student.

Who wants their children educated by such a teacher?

How does it smells?

It smells like… co*rrup*ion.

But no one can prove it. Even if you know he did it and make a report. How far you want to face these people with your claim. Money’s needed. Before that, people like you, like me or like the rest of us will be easily lowering the voice and disappear.

We have no money and we become fools. We will always be scared to act or even to talk. We might create our network with trust. But trust also can be bought with money.

Same as buying the party like I said before. It’s not as easy as we think. I heard from the bird tweet that you need to pay for around $150,000 to buy a party. And there are more than one party out there. At least more than 10.

I imagine how much money the party earns. It sounds like a source of income. Do you want to earn some? You can consider signing for one.

Vote or not vote for the same results?

If you are a minimalist who loves to simplify everything, then politics may not be yours. Politics are way so much complicated as it may seem on appearance. But we don’t know, we don’t really know what exactly happened inside.

Election is just a scenario. The selected candidate is predictable. Is our election manipulated?

First, it could be a situation where there is only one candidate. Second, it might be two candidates but from the same side. No matter which one leads the government. No pro nor contra. Same head.

There might be a real fight but not pure. Be pure on politics and you have no chance to win. Your faith is weak and you can easily pull out the same dirty way.

It’s even harder for a good leader to take the position. There are so many bad things to avoid, the test which needs cleverness and faith.

We act as opposite against our slogan

“Say No to Money Politics” but when the money is in front of our eyes. Those “No” flip to “Yes”. We took the money with both hands with a happy smile and said, “sure, I will choose you.”

And what happened the next you are complaining about your life is still the same even with a new leader. Throwing a question that you are not supposed to ask. Where’s the money going?

Personal safe.

He collects our money as we collect his money. And he collected more than we thought he could collect. Including your small amount of salary.

Final thought

Thinking that no matter which leader you vote for, your life will still be the same is wrong. Taking money from a candidate leader is wrong because you won’t know how much money that he will actually take from you when they are in position. We should have more initiative to know more about the candidate. And the thing we should believe in him is, “is he a person who has a heart?”
