2026: Change Your System, Be Different
What you wish happened in 2025 may not become a reality yet. Not because your effort is not hard enough, but rather because you need a little change in your systemic life.
Indeed, even a rabbit won’t leave the lovely nest for a new food-rich environment, as it may lead them to a high risk and even danger. But for us as humans, not taking a risk at all means no change for what we are always complaining about in life.
You may feel stuck with the resolution you made every year - wake up earlier, be in better shape, work harder, or make more money. But most of those promises had faded even before January says goodbye.
Those who don't want to repeat the same life as it was in the past, this article is definitely for you.
Let's make your change unpredictable. This time, make your change systemic.
Digging The Systems Behind Your Life
Your routines, thoughts, and habits are the results representing your life system.
No matter how big your goals are, if you are still surrounded by distraction, procrastination, and comfort, you'll always fall back to the same pattern.
The basic foundation of your system was built on your daily operation.
- How do you spend 24 hours?
- What do you do after waking up?
- When is the best time you perform your high focus?
- What you allow and quit to be a part of your life.
How 24 Hours Looks Like to You
A different system for a year will never be something new if you have no idea what your 24 hours look like. You can easily be taken away from your schedule by another person’s business, get distracted by your phone, or procrastinate.
24 hours a day is a capital every person has.
And 2026 can’t be different, unless your 24 hours do.
Identify your 24 hours roughly with this one-day planner:

Design one day with intention and then repeat.
This is an example of mine:
Chose What to Keep and Quit
As you know, 24 hours is a limit. You can’t make a wish to have a day 25 hours just for you.
We are all equal when it comes to time. What makes someone different from others is just how they use their time or when they were born, older, or younger.
But even if time is equal, energy and focus are not. Some people choose to bring growth, while others spend the same hours scrolling or reacting.
I bet you will pick to grow.
But be honest with me. Have you kept every aspect that helps you grow? Or are you still struggling to quit what you have to?
For your growth, have you kept:
- the good habit
- your clarity
- the people who support you
And for what holds you from growth, have you quit:
- the bad habit
- others’ business
- the toxic people
What you allow to enter your life will define what your system becomes. Don’t rush to add many new things to start; decide what deserves to end. Because when you succeed in quitting a thing, there will always be a space for a new one.
Once You Plan Your 24 Hours, Make It Your Way
A plan without execution is just a plan.
I think it will be easy for you to start practicing anyway. Nothing can stop time from clocking.
Take action on what you have designed in your 24 hours of life and make it your way to be different.
Once you master it, you can go deeper into every section of your life. You can decide for yourself how to manage that section.
For example, my spiritual section will be wudhu, Tahajud 8 rakaah, Witr 1 rakaah, Istighfar 3x, 1000 dinar verse & prayer of Prophet Yunus PBUH 7x, recite Qur'an, qabliah Subuh, Subuh prayer, istighfar 3x, tahlil akbar 10x, dzikir 3x33, The Throne Verse, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Falaq, An-Nas, and make my own prayer to Allah. I do that because I am a Muslim. You can adjust it by yourself.
The Real Transformation
Even if you have passed your designated 24 hours, it doesn’t mean you’ll see the changes tomorrow. These 24 hours of yours will change your system over time.
2026 won’t make you any different, but the system you have built will.
So ask yourself:
“What system do I need to build to become the person I want to be in 2026?
Change your system.
Be different.
Let 2026 be the year that finally reflects your design.
